Kongbool - Heritage Restoration

This homestead was restored to its former splendor following consultation with Mr Simon Lloyd (heritage architect) and Mr John Hawker (heritage horticulturalist) who gave helpful advice on refurbishment of the exterior and interior as well as the gardens.

Stained glass lead light windows and doors were completely restored, bathrooms, bedrooms, billiard room, living rooms and kitchen were fully restored to beyond their original beauty. Roofing, guttering and downpipes were also replaced to match the original finishes. Cast iron posts and frieze work were all sandblasted and repainted.

The pool complex and orchard were tastefully added to compliment the redevelopement.
